I really tried to do lots of fun things with the kids during Spring Break. We went to the Bean Museum at BYU (forgot the camera). The kids sort of liked looking at the stuffed animals (actually, Lissa was afraid of a lot of them) - they called most of them Teds (like their teddy bears) - but they REALLY liked climbing up and down the stairs.
We also took them to Jumpin' Jacks. It's filled with those huge blow-up slides. It took Joshua a little while to decide that he wasn't afraid of the slides, but once he got over the initial fear, he really enjoyed going down the slides (while Mom and Dad got a real workout carrying him up*). Lissa, on the other hand, was scared to death to even touch the slides. If we carried her up and had her on our lap as she went down so she never actually touched the slide, she was okay.**

Their favorite part was playing with this car (they still don't know that you can put money in these things and it does more - it's great that they can just enjoy it as it is):
*That kid is HUGE! I took him to the doctor yesterday and the doctor looked at me holding him on my lap and said, "He's going to be bigger than you by next week!"
**Is it normal for a two year old to be afraid of everything? Have you noticed a theme here? She was a afraid of the fish, the stuffed animals, and the slides...
