Opus 103 - The Kids' Newest "Tricks"

Joshua has learned how to pull himself up into a standing position. I started practicing this with both kids on Monday. Jason and I were sitting on the couch Tuesday evening while the kids were on the floor playing. We heard Joshua making his "this is so fun" noise and we looked to see him standing next to the toy box pulling toys out! Little goof ball!

This new trick of his has caused his relationship with the exersaucer to change a bit. He has always loved to crawl under it, but now he thinks he should pull himself up next to it. Unfortunately, the exersaucer would tip if we let him do that. But we have a great exersaucer that collapses so I pu it down from time to time so he can play with the toys. He has decided that his new challenge is climbing over the exersaucer.


He's getting better at it, but still gets stuck occationally and has to have mommy bail him out. He's such an energetic, adventurous kid!


When Lissa is in the exersaucer, we have to protect her so Joshua won't tip her over trying to pull up to it.
