As of today, it has been exactly one year since Lissa came home from the hospital. It was a wonderful and sad day. We were so excited to have our little Lissa come home, yet so sad that Joshua wasn't coming with her. Lissa was sad to leave her Joshua too - it was only during those two days they were apart that she made Joshua's "sheep" noise. She would do it, wait a few seconds, then whimper. We could only assume that she was calling out for Joshua, then whimpering upon realizing that he wasn't there :( It was sad, yet so cute at the same time!
Despite all of that, it was so wonderful to finally have Lissa-Boo home. Happy Anniversary Lissa! I love you!
